And grand it is! Despite the 4-hour detour with Yellowstone still closed, still a lovely drive through the foothills and along rivers and railroad tracks. 6800’ elevation. Altitude sickness? You don’t want to know the details.

Another log cabin, no Wi-Fi. It feels like camp. And fun. So dark, glad I brought a few night lights (don’t laugh - they’ve come in handy).

A fabulous night sky last night, filled with stars. But with sunset at 9:08pm, it takes a long time to get truly dark.

Bought the bear spray (aim at its feet, so it walks through the spray). Hoping not to need it. Listened to the hearings en route. Speechless.
